My journey toward becoming a permanent makeup artist began in 2016 when I began looking for an artist to do my brows.

 

I had beautiful, full eyebrows when I was young. But, I spent much of the nineties over-plucking until I had tadpole brows, and they never grew back. I was tired of having to fill them in every day and trying to make them symmetrical.

 

I heard about the more contemporary eyebrow tattoo, so I began a search for an artist who suited my needs. I spent about a year perusing Instagram, looking for a permanent makeup artist whose work was consistently great and whose style of work matched my aesthetics. By that time I was a little obsessed!

 

Bingo! I found Holly, and during the process learned that she was a permanent makeup instructor. How perfect! I hit the jackpot. Not only did I love my new brows, but I also found the ideal teacher.

 

I have been a certified makeup artist since 2018. As a math teacher, I am used to working with precision, details, and shapes. I believe that aids in my ability to create beautiful brows for my clients.

 

I’m the proud mother of a 23-year-old college student who works as a vet tech on her way toward becoming a veterinarian. Which will be perfect because I’m a cat owner and can get free animal care! 😊
